Limited Warranty and Lifetime Service Guarantee

Limited Warranties

TV Ears 2.3 - Comes with a 90 Day Limited Warranty from date of purchase.

TV Ears 3.0 - Comes with a 5 Year Limited Warranty from date of purchase.

TV Ears 5.0 - Comes with a 5 Year Limited Warranty from date of purchase.

TV Ears Digital - Comes with a 5 Year Limited Warranty from date of purchase.

TV Ears Digital TV Speaker - Comes with a 5 Year Limited Warranty from date of purchase.

TV Ears Professional - Comes with a 5 Year Limited Warranty from date of purchase.

TV Ears Speaker - Comes with a 90 Day Limited Warranty from date of purchase.

TV Ears Canada warrants these products against defects in material or workmanship for the length of time specified from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover batteries, ear tips, bow arms, shipping, set up adjustments or signal interference issues. The warranty also does not cover cosmetic damage or damages due to acts of nature, accident or misuse. Shipping charges are also not covered under this warranty. All warranties are void if a repair is attempted by someone other than the 2 service centers listed on our Customer Support Page.

90 Day Limited Warrranty

This 90 day limited warranty will cover product failure due to manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days after the original purchase date. If your product fails due to manufacturing defects within 90 days of the original purchase date, the unit will be repaired or at our discretion replaced with a new product of the same model at no charge. If your product fails or breaks after 90 days of the original purchase date and up to five years after the original purchase date, it will be repaired as per the Lifetime Service Guarantee.

5 Year Limited Warranty

This five year limited warranty will cover product failure due to manufacturing defects for a period of one year after the original purchase date. If your product fails due to manufacturing defects within one year of the original purchase date, the unit will be repaired or at our discretion replaced with a new product of the same model at no charge. The following items are not covered under this warranty: ear tips, batteries, bow arms and shipping. If your product fails or breaks after one year of the original purchase date and up to five years after the original purchase date, it will be repaired as per the Lifetime Service Guarantee.

Lifetime Service Guarantee

The Lifetime Service Guarantee provides you with an affordable way to repair or exchange your TV Ears system. To find a service outlet closest to your location, you can choose from the two service centers on our Customer Support Page. Repair services and fees are listed below. If the model you purchased is discontinued or no longer repairable, you may purchase a new or similar model at 50% off the manufacturers retail price in exchange for your old unit.

The Warranty and Lifetime Service Guarantee policies that are detailed on this page are only valid for products sold in Canada.

Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service you must provide a proof of purchase in the form of a paid bill of sale or credit card receipt. Request and be furnished with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) # and ship the TV Ears product (PREPAID) back to one of the two TV Ears Canada repair departments listed on our Customer Support Page. Items Shipped Collect to TV Ears Canada will not be accepted and returned to sender. The product should be shipped in the original packaging or packaging that affords the same amount of protection to the product. To obtain an RMA# and shipping address please call 1-800-263-4864.

WARRANTY RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT AN RMA# CLEARLY WRITTEN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE OR SHIPPING LABEL AND A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT SHOULD BE ENCLOSED AS PROOF OF PURCHASE.

DO NOT TAMPER WITH INTERNAL PARTS AND NEVER SUBMERGE IN WATER OR EXPOSE TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT.
 
Repair services and fees (shipping fees and taxes are not included):

For The 2.3, 3.0 and 5.0 Systems:

•$35 Flat Rate Complete System repair with 6 months warranty (for both transmitter and headset) 
•If the model you purchased is discontinued or no longer repairable, you may purchase a new or similar model at half the manufacturers retail price in exchange for your old unit.

For The Professional and Digital Systems:

•$45 Flat Rate Complete System repair with 6 months warranty (for both transmitter and headset) 
•If the model you purchased is discontinued or no longer repairable, you may purchase a new or similar model at half the manufacturers retail price in exchange for your old unit.

For The TV Ears Speaker Systems:

•$45 Flat Rate Complete System repair with 6 months warranty
•If the model you purchased is discontinued or no longer repairable, you may purchase a new or similar model at half the manufacturers retail price in exchange for your old unit.
